Octane Warranty

General Warranty Terms

All Octane jackets & pants are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the original customer date of purchase with receipt. (1) year for gloves.

Warranty Consideration must be accompanied by a copy of the original purchase receipt and when possible, the item should be cleaned before returning unless cleaning would further compromise the defect or damage the product. Octane will REPAIR zippers, snaps and most seam failures. Items will only be replaced if the product cannot be repaired.

Warranty claims must be processed through the originating Octane authorized dealer that the product was purchased through. Once the product is deemed warrantable, at Octanes discretion, the product will be repaired or replaced at no charge to the customer. For cases covered by warranty, normal processing time is about 7-business days once warranty receives the item. During their peak seasons, the process time might be longer.

Items NOT covered by warranty are failures or damage due to crashing, negligence, contact with hot surfaces such as exhaust pipes, cuts by sharp objects and fading caused by exposure to sunlight for long periods. If there is a question of whether the item is covered, please contact a warranty representative or customer service BEFORE sending the product in for review.

Please Note: Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us.

The customer is responsible for shipping items back with the carrier of their choice. We recommend using a carrier that provides a tracking number. All shipments must be made prepaid; packages shipped with COD will be rejected.

To obtain a warranty service you will need the following.

1) Include your full name, phone number, email and shipping address on a letter, and attach proof of purchase for our reference (invoice, bill of sale, cash receipt, etc.) No warranty claims will be considered without return of merchandise authorization and proof of purchase.

2) Pack the product with a cover letter, proof of purchase and return merchandise authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the box in a tightly packed, well-sealed box.
