These Skid Plates Are Laser Cut From A Highly-Durable Aluminum Alloy - 4.0mm Thick Aluminum Is Used For The Base Plate And 2.5mm Thick Aluminum Is Used For The Side Plates. The Base Plate Is Meant To Take Any Direct Impact And The Side Plates Wrap Around The Engine Block To Provide Both Bottom And Side Protection. Unlike Other Skid Plates Which Are Welded Together At The Folds, These Skid Plates Are Held Together By The Same Punch-Rivet Technology Found On Most Modern German Cars.
