The Outlander 4 is just about the slimmest, most form-fitting, lightweight means of carrying 3 liters of hydration. The patented No Dancing Monkey shoulder harness technology uses a central chest buckle in combination with elastic webbing to ensure the pack stays glued to your back without restricting your breathing or freedom of movement. The Outlander 4 is purely designed to sustain you over the course of an athletic activity where you'd be going through 3 liters of hydration. There's an exterior zippered pocket that's big enough for an energy bar or two, but that's it.
